Title: Para Cord Lanyard
Post by: Big Horn on January 11, 2012, 09:38:42 PM: I had some left over para cord from hunting laying around and some extra time, so I thought I would try to make a call lanyard. I think it turned out okay for my first one.

Ive made several of the bracelets with the standard bracelet weave and I made a key chain braided like the thicker part of your Lanyard...Never occurred to me to make a lanyard. My buddy made a sling with 550 It took him a long time and well over 100' of 550 cord

I made one out of one continuous cord and it only used about 70 feet and it's still a bit too long. If it weren't for having to route the excess back through the weave and getting tangled it wouldn't have taken me 3 hours. Pencil trick helps a lot for the weave.

I really like how you did that weave. I use the outside one for my bracelets but it was a cool idea to use it the way you did instead :tup:
