I have been wanting a new logo to define the business as I continue to grow. I went to Jon Gabrio with Apex Advertising and the wheels were put into motion. We decided to put the new logo to a vote. Go ahead and let us know what you think. We have been getting some feedback of combining two of these logos.

the last three are the way to go in my opinion. #1 the elk/animal thing is too distracting, #2 looks like it should be imbroidered on a baseball cap, #3 reads as PPhelps (not exactly the branding your looking for IMO. #4 has branding and graphic potential as shown with the multiple colors / backgrounds it can be used with as well as makes it clear what product you are selling. Just my :twocents:

I like the bottom one, but bring out the other animals a bit more. The Bull takes up too much space, so maybe just a head/bust of a bull, Cow, Buck, Cats/Yotes for those calls too..?

#4 good design and helps define what you sell.

Bottom one of #4. Way cool.
-
the bottom one with the wood background, with the animals, those are cool lookn
-
I think the basic design of #4 can be added to different backgrounds to help "refine" what specifically you are advertising, but the basic lettering design lends itself well to many products.

Number four.
Number two looks like a sports logo.

The last one

They are all nice but I would actually wait and vote for one that had one of you calls in it. All the ones you have shown so far only give me a warm fuzzy about someones graphic skills.... :twocents:
-
#4, but I agree with Al. I would like to see a call in the logo.
-
#4 for me as well, the last one looks the best

We will have to work on get a call in there. I was thinking about having a call or two hanging from a nail in the wood on the left of the graphic.
Are you guys' thinking a call should be incorporated into the actual logo?
-
I like it the way it is. It says game calls on it already so I don't think there need to be a picture of the calls. It might make it to busy. Just my redneck thoughts :chuckle:

i personally like the one you already have better

Good feedback on the logo's guys! Number 4 stood out as I built them, hence the graphic at the end showcasing it... It's more versatile, and can be used in a number of different situations and variations.
I was going to incorporate a call in the logo. The only reason I didn't from a marketing perspective is depending on the call(s) put in the logo, it ties him down from expanding and making calls for every species. For examply, a turkey call looks nothing like an elk call. It would be extremely difficult to incorporate a call for every type of game in there. Also, why I stepped away from the elk in the first logo as I built the other ones. I wanted to allow room for him to grow and expand and not be limited to elk calls.
All of the input and feedback is greatly appreacited! That's why we are having a vote on here.
Also, the graphic at the end was just there to emphasis the logo. It's not an actual ad and the elk and coyote are subdued to put emphasis on the logo.

Have you thought about like on the bottom one where the sound is coming off.....making that sound wave image as the part of the "P" in Phelps?
Just a thought.

That's actually not a bad idea. May have to play around with that one later today and see what it looks like.

Thanks for all of the recommendations and participating. We like the idea of letting my potential customers having input on the new logo.
-
Was the last one added late? Didn't see it on FB. I like 3 & 4b. I'd drop the small P in 3. The wood background looks great on here, but is a distraction for a logo or sticker. I'd put one in my window :)
I agree that putting an animal there may limit what ppl think you offer. :twocents:

Hey Jason I like the first design but think the "Agro" elk is distracting, maybe tone it down with a real elk silhouette, maybe a bull bugeling or something. :dunno:. Just a thought
-
Definitly the last one..
-
Everybody is spot on I think. Id go with #4 basic design then change up the back ground for advertising different calls for different animals. Its says everything in it, who it is and what it is. Don't put a call in it, thats cheesy and busy, if anything put it on a call.

#4

I would take the elk from #1 and put it in the #2 instead of the letter P ..... :twocents:
-
I really like the last one. It caught my eye
-
Thanks for all the input. I have been busy the last few weeks with the birth of my second kid (daughter).
I think the votes on here and facebook have heavily favored logo #4. I like the versatility of it and we are going to play with including calls (if they dont work we won't use them).
-
Good input on here guys!
Congrats on the newborn Jason!
