Yes glad there is one thing done right in this story.

I know it sucks but a lot worse has happened! Therefore I wish the wdfw wouldn't get the media involved and worsen our reputation even more! :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

You know what. I reported to the WDFW, the county and a wildlife agent in early December about 2-3 canadian geese along with about 5 ducks laying on the side of road in a stream near Lake Stevens. They did nothing at all, and they are still laying in the water. Pisses me off that they take the initative to investigate this situation but not the one that I reported.
I even found a wildlife officer about 2 miles from this area, I told her about the dead ducks and geese. She said are they breasted? I said no, Well then I will take a look at it, she never did. I mean come on, she was only about 5-10 minutes away and they can't even go over and pull the ducks/geese out, BS.

Some hunters are very lazy. I have ran across many birds that have been dumped in plain site over the years. I usually throw on a glove and pitch them out of site when I find them. I wish others would do the same.

pretty ridiculous...

:yeah:
I've thrown piles of breasted birds in the bushes for some lazy bastages a few times, Why can't everyone just haul them to work and stuff em in peoples lockers like I do :dunno:

STANWOOD -- A state wildlife agent has investigated a report of roughly two dozen geese and duck carcasses recently dumped off Logen Road about a mile north of Stanwood.
All the birds' chests were slit and breast meat was removed.
"There is no evidence to suggest they were illegally harvested but they were poorly disposed of," state Department of Fish and Wildlife Sgt. Rich Phillips said.
Waterfowl hunters often only keep the breast meat from birds they kill.
Alot of things here which piss me off....
Wasting the meat (alot of good meat on a duck carcass), tossing carcasses into plain view, the Herald for posting this "news worthy" article, and wildlifes comment. Sorry, maybe it is just me, and I am probably reading into it too much......
Instead I would rather an official comment something to the effect "Most hunters are concerned with their image and dispose of game carcasses properly." I would have rather had the official use the opportunity to improve the image of the majority of hunters, not associate this pile of waste with your average hunter.
