Title: Alaska Antler Works
Post by: Sitka_Blacktail on January 15, 2012, 06:49:59 PM
Any serious shed lover needs to see this site.  Aaron and Jill Bork have my favorite web site in the whole world and I love to follow their adventures via their photo page. Aaron creates masterpieces with antlers and Jill created their web site and keeps it up to date.

They do a lot of shed hunting and their dogs actually help them find a lot of sheds.

Aaron is a craftsman and not just with antlers. And Jill is always right there with him, not afraid of the hard work. Together they built this beautiful cabin and furnished it on a remote piece of land they bought.

They also remodeled a house in Montana     http://www.alaskaantlerworks.com/photo.1909%20Home%20Restoration.htm  And built a unique timber framed home in Bear Valley near Anchorage.  http://www.alaskaantlerworks.com/Photos.AlaskaTimberFrameTower.htm

Then there are their hunting trips all over Alaska and Montana.

I was surprised to see this topic.  I've followed their site since sometime around 2004-2005.  They used to post on the NASHC forum and I always enjoyed their ATL pics.

Nice houses too.

No kids, old people (or not so old) or drinking around those stairs!

I think they built a handrail for the stairs. That was an early picture while they were building.
