Title: Toutle scouting
Post by: Jeremiah P on July 20, 2008, 08:13:06 PM: Well I went on my first scouting trip to the toutle unit, weyerhauser only has a few gates open, 4100 and 4200 but neither are open all the way. Found some elk but nothing worthy of using my tag on, but it was only the first trip and I didn't go in as far in as I would have liked. If anyone is willing to share any locations that I should check out let me know.

Post by: JoeVon on July 21, 2008, 03:56:01 PM: I was up on the 3000 last weekend...no elk, no deer, but it was pretty warm. We did get a pretty good view of the Cold Springs Fire though.
