i was wondering what people do with all the sheds that they find ??? or do most just pile them in a corner ha
-
I want to make a coffee and end tables and use the antlers for drawer knobs but can't bring myself to cut them up. So they are piled in a corner.
-
I have grand plans, but there are piled in the corner of the garage!!
-
I rented a cabin over new years and they had made coat racks. I liked that one. also the main lodge door handle was a big elk antler.. My roommate has taken some of deer antlers and put them in some flower arrangements. and made a bouquet of elk antlers in a basket. it is kinda cool.

I am looking for the perfect shed to screw into the wall for a toilet paper dispencer.
-
I been making lamps with the antlers that I find, heres one.
-
Once I move, mine will all find a nice spot to be hung on the walls, ceiling, etc. I have some great plans to make tables, chairs, etc, but I will probably buy sheds. I can't get myself to drill or cut any of my own.
my wife seems to think a wine bottle holder would be cool.
-
The trick is to make them look as natural as possible, practice on a few that you dont value as much, after years of shed hunting ya have to do something with them.
-
One of my flower arrangements.
-
I just bought a reproduction moose skull that I will be putting the moose sheds I found behind the house on. Then will be hanging it in the man cave I am building. All the others are just on a shelf since I have not found many in the past and don't have any decent ones to build anything.
-
What sucks is the best ones to build with are usually your biggest sheds. Haha. I have a buddy with a shed that hold to. Looks very nice. Cribbage boards look nice but I don't play cribbage and can't chopped up my sheds.
-
Here's a wine bottle holder I made last year it ended up going to the RMEF Banquet in Colville to be auctioned. And a rear-view mirror thingy that I made for the girlfriend.
-
you should sell those Dave. You could make some pretty good money off of those chandliers. I would hang one in my house. Great job!!!!!
-
I sold the little one, and the larger lamp is for sale for a price, good way to make a few extra bucks.
heres a few more.
-
heath, when the snow melts we should go shed hunting.
-
I am getting ready to make a antler tree and the top will have a european mount
-
I saw in a Feild & Stream magazine that you can drill two holes in the base of the shed and screw it into the wall to make a coat/hat hanger. Once i get my own house I plan on doing that.
-
I make little piles around the house. That way the warden dosent get to upset. :chuckle:
-
Wow theres some nice ones on here. Here are some of my redneck creations.
-
those are some good ideas
-

That is a sweet looking Antler tree, very cool, very talented. Good idea for the big pile of antlers in the corner that I don't know what to do with.
-
THX...Dunno if it will be topped with the european mount now... Tree needs more height, looks top heavy with it on there
