Praise the Lord we finally caught that beaver that's been outwitting us for a month! Pretty cool walking up to a "stuffed" trap. Can hardly believe he fit. Weighed him at 56 lbs. Is that average? Big? As we were removing him and resetting the cage another one was off in the dark slapping his tail on the water about every ten seconds. Probably did it 30 times. Also there were 3 new castor mounds within 30 yds. YeeeeHaaaaa!!!!!!

I Caught my first beaver when I was 14, but I did not know what to do with it. So I let it go. Kind of scary at the time, come to think of it.
