Environmentalists launch national campaign against Idaho wolf killing
blog by Kevin Richert on Tue, 01/31/2012 - Idaho Statesman
A national environmental group has launched an online petition drive to protest an Idaho aerial wolf killing plan.
Defenders of Wildlife is seeking 75,000 signatures on petitions opposing wolf control efforts in the Lolo district of north-central Idaho’s Clearwater National Forest.
From the Defenders website:
Your tax dollars could be used to pay for an ill-conceived aerial wolf cull in Northeastern Idaho — an unscientific plan to boost game populations that could kill as many as two thirds of the wolves in the Lolo District of the Clearwater National Forest.
Defenders of Wildlife is calling on President Obama and his administration to deny Idaho’s request to have federal agents carry out aerial wolf killing in Idaho. Will you join us?
As of Tuesday afternoon, the group reported more than 41,000 signatures.

Because they have nothing better to do than get involved in wolf management in a single Idaho unit?!
Do you think these kind of people take a dump and then feel lightheaded because they flush what they have for brains, down the toilet?

From the comment section -
Isn't wolf killing considered one of Obama's..... shovel ready jobs? Pretty sure this program is in his jobs bill. Yes We Can!
does not appear that too many of the signatures are from Idaho residents :chuckle: :chuckle:

Looked like there are some Idaho residents on that link :chuckle: I agree with capure them and release them in Wash. DC :chuckle:

Looks like one of the enemy alerts I get from Rappaport/Clark and her minions. I like to watch what the enemy ( DOW, HSUS, Wilderness Society, Nature conservancy, Washington legislature, sierra club and many others) is up to through their own alerts. They really got their panties in a bunch over that one. Haven't seen any show up in the last couple weeks.

Why do they have to tell every envirmental and tree hugger in the world what they are going to do. Why don;t they just go take care of the problem it sounds like the vasectomy thread no balls. Get Er Done.

I have $300 For fuel and 200 ammo weather they shot wolves or tree huggers. Or they could just turn The guys in the Apaches lose. They might like the practice
-
they may have 41,000 signatures, but how many are from Idaho, they should have to get the signatures from Idaho residents. :twocents:

My mother in law forwarded this to me after receiving it from her distant cousin. Since I know her cousin well I decided to write a letter to her. After it was all said and done she has decided to not only remove her signature from Defenders but has told me she will quite sending them money!! I helped convert her to a better frame of mind. :IBCOOL:
