Is it just me or does it seem like in years past we had people finding more bone this time of year :dunno: I may be wrong, just curious what you guys thought. remembered getting on here everyday last year and seeing new cool horns from all you guys. I found my first set last year and jan 8th, they were a year old but i was finding fresh whitetail in the northeast around now. Just board so figured i'd start a new thread lol :IBCOOL:

Think a lot of people are holding out showing them in fear of being scrutinized for looking this time of year, but I really dont know.
-
:yeah: Ya no kidding... even with a mild winter. I've only gotten out a few times
-
I cant find a blacktail shed to save my life, but mid March ill hit it hard when the Elk start dropping. Tell then I enjoy seeing what you eastside guys are picking up.
-
Ya... never been over to the west side to look for blacktails or hunt blacktails. Heard its a much more difficult task then we have it over here

:yeah: To many internet police on here! I wouldn't post pics either.
-
Kind of a shame we cant even post pics on the SHED HUNTING forum without people being angry about it huh :dunno: wish the people who didnt want to see the new horns wouldnt look so the rest of us could keep our horn porn addiction up
-
I just posted a bunch for you to look at in the "opinions about shed hunting" thread.
-
Maybe people are wising up and have made conscious choices to not put pressure on the critters now that we have heavy crusted snow.

Just wait till the time to search is deemed more appropriate and people start posting again, then the accusations of tresspassing can start flying around again.
Anybody remember last year (i think) the shed post near wenatchee...trail cam pics and you stole my sheds, you must of been had to of been tresspassing, blah, blah, blah....
Then i think i remember a post of some elk sheds and pics of the bull in like oak creek a few days before the pics were posted.....good times....
-
All my bucks havnt dropped yet. thats my excuse..
-
black tail sheds r hard 2 find i look hard every year and average 1 a year on the other hand some of my friends find lots of singles and match sets every year not including lots of elk yhere easier to find cause there so much biger but nows a good time 4 b tails cause u can see the points sticking thru the snow

Like i said on the other thread, the people who cant grasp the concept on how to look for horns without disrupting the animals in this mild winter should start there own post section and not read the "shed hunting" section if they dont want to see people posting pictures of horns :twocents: on the other hand i will still be out looking as long as the weather stays 40* in the first week of febuary
