I think the ultimate ? is what gmu did you find it in, but I think he will keep that to himself. I know I would. :) But if you feeling generous

Because of his ranking, he ended up being evaluated by a panel before the panel he had to be measured by three individual official measurers and I believe they scored him at 27inch main beam. First measure scored him at 96 5/8, he measured it at 27 3/8. Another measurer measured it at 26 5/8. They took the most conservative measurements of course .

I've spent the last 20 years trying to "match" him up Duck

Yeah, just curious how long that things been ranked #3. Did the math though, no doubt a great find to hold that rating so long! :tup:

It was beat by an antler from the Sonora, Mexico(current ranking number 1 I believe still). Then was number 2 for a decade or so and just recently became #3.

Especially with all these other great Muledeer states. It would be cool to have a shed of that status in any collection! Bet you couldn't believe your eyes when you stumbled across that guy.
