I have been finding that they are extremely difficult to find....
My girlfriend has been bugging me about getting a puppy for like a month, and I'm ready to give in and get her one. She thankfully has told me that we can get a hunting dog. I was wondering if you guys had or knew anyone that has one for sale. Preferably 2-6 months old.

Go to the Classified section. There's a guy selling black lab pups for $300 in Castle Rock.

How about adopting a Rescue Lab?

How about adopting a Rescue Lab?
Not to upset the guy selling em in Castle Rock but what a good idea
-
I have looked into adopting one from a shelter or humane society, but to find a lab that fits the three main criteria is pretty difficult.
-
I have ours listed on the classifieds. We do have 2 black males still available. They are 9 weeks old and have their first puppy shots. We are in Castle Rock as the others have said. You can PM me if you want to come by and see them. Their dad is a great bird dog and our female is mainly our pet. We began training her for shed hunting but didn't follow through.

Pics??

There's a few sponsors on the forums who are breeders and help us keep the lights on around here.
Be sure to check them out too.
"Carpsniperg2" and "Worn" and maybe someone else. Can't remember for sure.

we just bought one last week for $100. She is pure bread but not papered. Got her from a lady up in Bonners ferry Id. Great dog so far, and the dad is a duck and goose hunting dog.

Here are a few new pictures of the two boys available. Have them playing with sheds already. :IBCOOL: And we are sponsors also. :hello:

IBSpoiled, that second pict is really cool

We got our little girl in September through River Valley British Labs. She is 5 months old now and great so far. She was in Monroe today going crazy over birds (with trainer Pat Murphy) I can't wait to see her in the field next year. :IBCOOL:

The ones in Castle Rock look really good!

I have one of these pups from IBspoiled. Trust me you won't be sorry. "SUGAR" is a female yellow lab and at 9 weeks she is fetching and returning a duck wing everytime... Really great dog... If you need to know more for a reference for them, contact me anytime, great people to deal with...
-
I don't have any right now. I should have a litter sometime this year. I take a break with my females between each litter to never push them to hard. Only breed them every other heat.

Here is a good place to look. All of the dogs advertised are required by the webmaster have the proper health clearances which are widely acknowledged by ALL responsible breeders as a basic requirement prior to considering breeding.
-
Well I was just informed that IBspoiled sold his two puppies so it looks like I am back on the hunt...Finding a puppy in washington, oregon and idaho is becoming quite the pain in the neck.
Can you teach a Rhodesian to hunt upland and waterfowl??

Another place to look is this website;
http://www.gundogbreeders.com/
They list them by state and has ads as well. This way you can hopefully find a good breeder

I'm trying to get a female black lab in either march or April. Keep us posted if you find anything worth looking at. I keep a pretty close eye on the Seattle times classifieds, little nickle classifieds, and eBay classifieds. Theres pretty much always labs in at least one of them, just depends if they meet your requirements.

Here are a couple real nice planned breedings for 2012..

I have been looking around since just after christmas for one to be available about this time. I'm hoping I stumble into something here soon because this puppy was going to be the valentines gift to the girlfriend along with a washer and dryer...
-
Do it right spend the time and the money get a AKC or UKC dog with a 26 month health guaranty. look on retrievertraining.net in the classified section under LAB PUPPIES. I promise that if you put out the extra effort and the little extra cash you wont be disappointed.

here is a few pictures of our new pup. Just went and picked him up this morning.
