I decided i would like to get a barrel for my glock 30 that would be legal to hunt with. I may never use it but would like to pack it when hunting because i do some treestand hunting.
Where should i look to buy one? I know in this state it must be 4 inches per manufacturer.

I found a place in Arizona years ago after I bought my nephews Model 30. If I can track them down I'll let you know.

This wasn't the place but I'm pretty sure it was Bar-Sto that I called.
Yep Bar-Sto. Prices have gone up a bit :chuckle: But I remember them being willing to talk about custom lengths.

Will a Glock 21 barrel fit?

Found this at THR.

Big Negative on that man, i tryed to install my dads G21 barrel on my G30, seems that the locking lug and the recess where the recoil spring sets is a bit longer on the 21 barrel than the 30. It went on fine, but once the takedown lever got ahold of it, it took me and my dad both to get the slide and barrel back off. My advice...dont try it.

a g21 barrel will not work with a g30. the locking lugs are different.

Bummer, that would have been a simple fix.

My first thought for Glock parts is Lone Wolf.

Is it the manufacturer of the barrel or the manufacturer of the gun that says the 4 inches. If it follows the gun a g30 may never he legal because glock says it has a 3.8? Barrel. Or will the barrel manufacturer spec make the firearm legal? I don't know. But something to find out.
