Has anyone used these guys http://adventurefishing.net/ I have seen them on craigslist and seen their website. I have never turkey hunted, but my son has been bugging me for a couple years to take him. We have pretty much just been big game hunters. I would like to take him somewhere he would have a good chance at something and maybe even my wife too since she started hunting last year. Also with out having to send a lot of money. The money is always a issue, but with out my own knowledge a guide would be my best bet. Also if you have used another turkey you liked please pass that info along. Thank you for your time and help.

Never heard of them before. The Turkey Link doesn't work either.
Only Turkey Guide I know of is Dale Denney @ BearPaw Outfitters. That is who I would recomend. I was with him in the Spring of 2011 Bear Hunting. We saw Turkey every day.

The owner of the site (Bearpaw) guides for turkey ...he might be your guy ? We have lots of birds and all it takes is a little efford and wanting to get after it ....just having your kids and wife in the spring woods in the spring will be an experience you will never forget ...hearing the turkeys and all the other wildlife you encounter !!! gets some calls ...maybe a slate call - box call . something easy to learn and get some good videos and watch them over and over again ...listing to the sounds of the hens and try mastering them ...at least try .... its a ball !!!!

I used this guide service before and hunted with the son, Levi. They are great people and even though I didn't get a bird he hunted his arse off for me....we used a driftboat to access some land, which was awesome....

You could also consider using the money you spend on a guide to go scouting in March and lock up some private land. DIY hunts for turkey are not extremely hard and if you are looking to save some coin it might be the way you want to go. Bearpaw Outfitters does sell maps of areas to hunt also.
not counting the fact that when you walk up to a landowner with child in hand I have not ever had many tell me NO !! Kids are a great way to get in the door :yeah: hard to look a kid in the eye when you know he is all excited to get after it and you tell him no !!!!

I would recommend Adventurefishing. I know them well and they work hard at what they do. I would get on contacting them and ask about the seminar they are putting on.

If you are still looking you might check out Garry Greenwalt at wild country guide service. He has done many youth deer hunts and is used to kids. They have alot of turkeys there also. I think his web site is wildcountrygs.com

Both site sponsers/owner offer guided turkey.....Bearpaw and Tanglewood. I would thank that between those two you should be able to find one that fits your needs.
