I needed a new scope for my 308 that hasnt been out of the safe in 3 years. That is why I havent seen many coyotes this year. I went and bought one of these. and parked on my remington 700 police 308. Its a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 SFP Illiminated Mil Rad. Retical

That will make for a nice combo! Should be good out to 600 yards or so!

Get her lined in and go blast some

She'll reach farther than that :) . I parked the scope in Badger Ord. Rings married to a Badger Ord. 20 MOA 1 piece rail and bedded the whole contraption to the rifle. She should be easily capable of sending 168 Sierra Game Kings out to 800 accurately.

Odd title for a long range rifle to have the word "police" in it. The average sniper shot for a police sniper is 71 yards... as opposed to 300 yards for a military sniper.

Its just the Remington Police model 26 in BBL with the swelled palm and forend and aluminum bedded stock

These are awesome scopes. Now its time to go put some smack down. 168's will definitely put the hurt to them puppies.

That is the same scope I'm looking at, I just wish I could find one to fondle instead of risking the money on one and finding out later I don't like it.
