I got over 50 videos of the bobcat, some of a hawk, and I was amazed that it picked up a tiny little mouse. If you only watch one of these videos, watch the 3rd from the last, the cat pulls on the bait, which is tied to a tree, and it rattles the brush next to it and the bobcat wastes no time getting out of there. I guess it thought it was going to get caught in a trap or something. Wait for the end of the video and it comes slinking back.

That is just some fantastic Vidio! How close is your cam to that bait pile?

I don't know the exact distance but just guessing I'd say it's about 8 to 10 feet away.
I was just out there today, switched out my Tasco cam with a Moultrie D40 hooked into a deep cycle marine battery. Left the W6X as is, just swapped out memory cards.
I'm hoping to get some better pictures with the Moultrie. I like the Tasco but I believe the Moultrie pictures are a little better. I may not get quite as many pictures because the Moultrie has a 1 minute delay. But I have the Moultrie set to a 3 shot burst so that should help make up for it. The Tasco does not have a multi-shot burst option, and takes one picture every 15 to 20 seconds.
The Moulrie will definitely light things up a lot better, the flash has about 3 times the range of the Tasco. That may actually be a bad thing though, I'm wondering if the brighter flash will scare the bobcat away. I know the red glow from the Wildgame cam while it was doing 30 second videos sure made the cat nervous at first. But it seems that it got used to it after a while and it didn't bother it much anymore.
I think I'll plan on putting some fresh bait out there tomorrow, just found another elk leg bone in my freezer.

Cool videos! Good idea in wiring the stuff to the tree to keep it there for the video.

Is he fairly consistant on the time he shows up or random?

It's very often in th middle of the night (midnight to 2 am) but also other various random times, just from memory I have pictures at 6:00 PM, 9:30 PM, and 8:15 AM.
I think I need to go thru all the pictures and videos I have and write all the dates and times that the bobcat was there, in order to really get a handle on whether there is a pattern or not.

Just an odd thought but having this dude around to get pics and video of is pretty cool. You may not want to kill him but just see how many years you can catch him on video......... Unless he's in your deer area.

I'm not going to work real hard at it. Just really want to see if it can be called in. Chances are a coyote could come in too and I'd be more than happy to take out a coyote. I really do just prefer to get pictures of it. But I do feel that if this cat was gone another would likely take its place.
