Title: use for sheds
Post by: parrydog on February 18, 2012, 07:28:47 AM: For anybody out there looking for a good use for their decent sized antlers, look into donating them to your favorite charitable organization to be used for antler crafts. You could even go the extra mile and contact an artist that makes antler crafts and offer to donate the antlers if they donate the time and experience and then donate the whole package. Antler lamps, cribbage boards, wine holders, and chandaliers make great auction items at fund raising events. After all, once the thrill of finding them wears off they are just sitting around taking up space and collecting dust. (yeah right, I know)

I build antler and log furnishings, if some one is wanting to donate to a charity with the antlers I might be willing to donate the work of making the finished product, depending on the charity.
