Title: Recoil spring for a SBE2 shotgun
Post by: duck stamp on February 21, 2012, 04:42:46 PM
I have my SBE2 shot gun in my gunsmiths having a Wolff 25% stronger recoil spring installed with a Wolff mag spring also being installed, the shotgun is about 7yrs old and I have never had any trouble with it .  But now  I want to keep it for my Grandson so when he is ready for a 12ga It will be like a new gun for him.  I was wondering if any of you peaple have had this done to your Benellis? the reason I am setting it a side for him is that the last couple of years I have been shooting a Vinci.

I installed both springs in my SBE2 and could not be happier with the performance.

I have not looked into the Wolf springs.  I picked up the Sure shot system for my SBE11 and did not like it.  I will look into the wolf spring.
