Title: High Mountain Hunting Supply Custom Rifle Build
Post by: mountainman on February 23, 2012, 06:35:10 PM: Prototype HMHS Longrange Hunter A1, built by High Mountain Hunting Supply head gunsmith Mitchell Rolen. Blueprinted Remington 700 action, oversize match recoil lug, speedlock kit, Shilen 26" 1-10 twist ss, heavy contour w/ JP muzzlebrake.Seekins bottom metel w, 10 rnd magazine inside of a HS Precision Police model stock, duracoated in a 3 color desert pattern, Pillared and floated topped with a Vortex 4-16X50 Viper PST sitting on a 20 degree warne base, Badger Ordinance target bolt knob! Groups to follow!!

Bighammer, Mitch is our master smith...pretty sure youve probably met him when you've been in the shop. He has 3 Edge builds lined up in the back w more coming in every day. Unfortunately, I'm also too old and fat to lug a 16 pounder up the mountain for deer so I'll take some solace in the fact that I couldn't hunt with it anyway.

Sure is an awesome looking rifle.....
