Does anyone know where Mark (Haskins?) that had Mark's Taxidermy in Tenino went to. He did several animals and a couple of years ago when I had another one to do, he was gone. I have not been able to find him.

Their is a Mark's Taxidermy farther south but I can't remeber where it is exactly. I can get contact info for you I bet. I'll PM you with it if I can get it. I was just at the guys shop several months ago.

Mark has moved a couple times and now resides in Ethel out towards Mossyrock. I dont have his number on hand at this time but you should be able to get it now.

I saw his sign this week coming back from camping at Walupt lake.

How has his work been in the past? I'm shopping for a new taxidermist.

How was Walupt Oppurtunist? Guy at work was up Takalak this week, pushing snow with his bumper in the campground.

That was quick. When I tried a couple years ago that was where I found but could not get an answer or call back. I'll have to try again.
In my opinion his work is the best. When I tried to find him again it was for another bear rug and ended up having someone in Port Townsend do it. What a let down with the quality of work.

It was real good. The bugs were bad, but we deet'd up and had a good time. A good friend of mine and myself took our teenage boys up for a guys camp out. The wives came up on Tuesday for the day and we all hiked up on top of Nannies Peak. We saw a real nice black bear, a goat and a spotted owl (you know they taste like chicken). I wish I had known they took the gas powered boat restriction off the lake otherwise I would have pulled the sled up instead of a rowboat. They have a 10 mph speed limit on the lake. Fishing was slow but we didn't really care, we still caught a few. I taught a couple of the boys how to cast a fly rod.

Roger, his is in Ethel on Highway 12. He did my bear rug, awesome job. He is getting ready to put up a new shop, had his poles set for the last 9 months, and I expect to see a new building on his lot the next time I swing by. You should have seen the elk he had in their in February!!!
