Here is mine, don't see to many bench legs with a big drop tine. I had a history with this deer last year and almost shot him twice but held out for a toad I had even more history with. I was lucky enough to shoot the toad late into the season. This is not the biggest buck I have on cam from lats year or years past but for sure the coolest!!!

Drop tines are cool, I would have let the air out of him quick, fast, and right away.  8)

This buck was the the only reason I did not :chuckle: I had been trying to get people on this deer during modern firearm and played cat and mouse with him in the late hunt. I was lucky enough to end up taking him you should read the story and you will know why I passed on the drop tine. Something I would never do in normal conditions! This was a giant for our benchleg standards! Most of our deer have more blacktail then mule deer blood. Even though we are classified as a mule deer unit.

Okay, I officially agree with your reasoning  :chuckle: I know that I would have had a very hard time laying off that drop.

I'll throw in this one, I cropped it some, so there's no date and time stamp, but it was taken just 3 days ago on 2/26.
