Title: More of the same bobcat
Post by: bobcat on February 28, 2012, 01:59:21 PM: I know everyone's already seen lots of pictures of this bobcat, but I'm going to post a few more anyway. This cat seems to be getting a lot more bold. This pictures is from about 10:00 Sunday morning (two days ago). Usually this cat is there in the middle of the night, never in the middle of the day. I can't wait to see the videos, haven't looked at them yet, hopefully they turned out.

Actually with the season ending March 15th, it's only a little over 2 weeks left.

The question is, should I try to take it now or let it grow for one more year and try to get it next winter?

WHAT?? Why wait?! Get him now - if you never see him again you will really be kicking yourself! If you decide to wait then let me know, I want to come out & get him! Just think, you could help me get my first cat! :chuckle:

Post by: jackmaster on February 29, 2012, 12:15:02 PM: i would kill him now, get an old deer head, preferably one with the brains still in it if you can, hang that baby in a tree or drill a hole through the skull and stake it to the ground real good so they cant walk off with it, it will help to get him to come in a little more regular

It was tearing off chunks of elk hide, and eating some of it. That elk hide's been tied to that tree for quite a while (since mid-Jan) so I don't know why it just decided now to tear into it. I wasn't too happy that my camera wasn't aimed quite right and I missed that. I turned the camera now so if it does it again, the action will be centered better.

Been trying to figure out which way the cat is coming from. Just had the camera up one day and got the cat going to the bait at 2:00 this morning. Pictures are nothing special but thought I'd post them since these are the first I have with the Primos cam.
