I was out hunting mountain lions yesterday with Grams and we spotted this young bull moose right next to the road up in the Blue Mountains east of Walla Walla, WA. I have now seen a total of 5 mooose in this area over the past several years. I saw one last fall while out elk hunting, the other 3 were several years ago. We covered a lot of ground on foot and driving the roads but only saw one good lion track and that was at the end of the day and it was headed up a steep hill where the snow had melted off. Might try that area again tomorrow.
