Hello, Im new to hunting in Washington state. Ive been around guns my whole life, but because my father doesnt hunt and because of my previous work I didnt have time to hunt. I hike and fish a lot so Im not new to the outdoors. I have a son now and I want to pass on hunting on to him when he gets old enough to do so.
I took the hunter safety course and I have the guns.
Im looking for advice, tips, nearby areas to hunt in, and scouting tips before the season starts... If anyone wants a new hunting partner that doesnt know much let me know :chuckle:
I want to hunt around west side of mountains around I90 or Highway 2. Anything advice would be appreciated.
PM or post on here.

Welcome to the site. Not much of a west side guy myself but best of luck to you. Remember you can always look at you local assessors parcel information and find some ground to hunt.
