I was just curious if anyone has bought a pair of Speed Freek hunting shoes by Under Armour. Ive been wanting to get myself a new pair of outdoor shoes but don't want to spend the money if they are not comfy or cant stay dry. They are supposed to be waterproof but I wonder how many miles you can put on them before they start leaking. There is alot of other shoes out there I would love to have (Danners pronghorns were my favorite) but considering that I am a below the knee amputee I have to pick shoes that are as light as possible and from what I have read about the Speed Freeks they are as light as my skate shoes I wear everyday. I found a few reviews online but I think they are just from hiker-type people and I wouldnt mind a review from someone who actually hunts or at least put some miles on them here in Washington.

ive been curious for a review of them as well, i currently wear rocky sv2 as they are pretty light and a sort of athletic fit boot.

I've had them for about two months. So far so good  No leaks so far and they are light and comfortable. The one problem I have and has been pointed out in the reviews is the new shoe smell that has not gone away yet. Almost smells like elk piss to me but it is fading just not real fast. Hope this helps a little and when I start putting them through some real tests I'll certainly post how they do.

Im sure if you put some miles on them the new smell will go away. Nice to know that they are comfy though. Its one thing to have a waterproof shoe but if you dont look forward to wearing them then you might as well wear skate shoes out in the woods (which i have done for the last few years :chuckle: )
