You may also want to catch a turkey hunting clinic next year - did 3 ea 2 hr clinics at Lacey's Cabelas and 1 in Puyallup's Sportsmans Warehouse this year that covered all the basics plus more.

How far do you want to travel and when do you plan to hunt?I would go east but it has to be on weekends

Suggest hunting on the eastside (most birds harvested in NE Wa) as less than 2% or only 99 birds were harvested in 2010 in all of western Wa and you can bag 2 over there and only 1 over here.Thanks for the great advice..I will get on a mailing list for the clinics at Cabelas.. Good Luck :)
