Title: Extreme Limb Preload Question
Post by: konrad on March 30, 2012, 05:23:12 PM
I understand the rational behind extreme preloading limbs on the Bear and PSE line of bows.

My question is: If a scale was attached to a single pair of limbs (either the top or bottom set), how much tension would be required to draw them into the position shown in the “at rest” photos?

a whole lot! they are completely flat when off the bow and i can barely get one to flex by hand.
