Looks like a nice gun.

I am angry.
But I will get over the anger if you sell it to me for a song...... :chuckle:
-
Great Looking Gun, Congrats!
-
You guys would not even believe this....it was in the gun library at cabelas. I need to dig deeper, but this is a 1900ish piece and it was only $1099.00...with the case!
-
wow that is sure a purdy boom stick you got there
-
I just looked up the numbers......its a 1902 made parker

Looks like its in really good shape. Has it been reconditioned? That might be why its was so cheap. Have you blue booked it? Not all the parkers are worth a lot of money.
-
If you have the money send in for a research letter.

I need to get in touch with larry DelGrego as it looks to be one of his guns. the lower book value is still higher than I paid, and a delgrego restore is typically worth quite a bit. mine is flawless in metal. to have the restore done today would be in the neighborhood of 4-6k bucks.....so I feel it was a deal.
-
Congratulations, that one is a beauty. I think that is a great gun for the money, restored or not.

   I want that on my living room wall!!!

Updated daylight pics....

Real nice lookin shooter high country!
-
Wow ...I would love to have that :yeah:
-
MY O MY. It looks even better than I thought it did.
-
You absolutely stole that gun. Looks like a VH? Beautiful re-stock, nice grain through the wrist, good dimensions, great pad, checkering, re-cased and blued, the works, and a period case, for only $1095? Awesome. Well done.
-
That shotgun would add a whole new dimension of pleasure to pheasant hunting.
What a beautiful piece.
-
Thats a gun to hang on to it;s a beauty it;s value will just increase. My boy found a deal like that a few years ago and gave it to me it;s a browning broadway trap with a single barell with it that was won in a shoot in englund and it has a troy once of silver imbedded in the forearm I have never even shot it just look at it from time to time.
-
Sweet!!!
12 or 16?
-
Mine is a 12 it;s a beauty. Have seen some at cabelas and they look spendy.
-
Its a 12. I about passed out when he pulled out the 100 year old case.
-
Nice Shotgun! Very Nice!
-
damn! from the looks of it, that thing was restocked to modern shooting dimensions. you did good.... you want to flip it?

While I would always consider offers, I doubt I would sell it.

Reading this just got me thinking about a craigslist ad i just saw about a 1900ish leather over under or sxs case from the pictures it looks really nice and only 25.00 its in burien and the ad listing is shotgun holder for double barrel. the phone number on the ad is 206-618-9063.
-
makes me wonder about my double barrel 16 gauge my grandpa gave me when i was a kid, kinda looks like that but i need to refinish the stock and have new firing pins put in, oh yeah cool gun op

Before you alter the stock....post a pic. Classic American doubles take a huge dump in value when you change them unless done by certain refinishing companies.....its dumb, but true. Replacing the pins is no harm to value. If you have the pins out or are in eastern wa, I can build them for you.
