Title: New Turkey Hunter/New to E Wa

I just moved to Spokane and want to try and bag my first Turkey this year. I have hunted most all species all my life but spent most all my time hunting in Western Wa or in the Blues and have never Turkey hunted. I currently don't have a hunting partner or really know where to go.

I do have a general idea of the best areas to go over here, and have maps. I plan on heading up to Colville area next week and doing some scouting on my own. I'm not looking for anyone's secret spot, maybe just some pointers and/or someone that may be without a Turkey hunting partner. Any tips are appreciated guys! Thanks

Post by: Lincoln4 on April 06, 2012, 01:37:51 PM: Stevens County is about all you need to know. Knock on some doors, most property owners I've spoken with are very happy to allow you to make a turkey or two disappear. Then there' public land, and plenty of it...
