Title: Summerfest 3D June 2-3

This is our most fun, least competitive shoot each year. We like to think of this as out outdoor BBQ/get together. We will have lots of challenge shots, and moving targets. We normally have special food for the BBQ. There will be some limited camping available and plenty of spots for RVs. We even have a couple of spots where you could plug in if you require a C pap machine that requires 110-120 volt plug in.

We will also be selling off some of our old targets that we will no longer be using. We will be doing an inventory here soon however i think there will mostly be McKenzie targets.

We thought we were going to have them in for our last shoot and something got screwed up. :bash: But they are here now! :IBCOOL: We now have a full size moose, buffalo, standing elk and 3 new deer one of which has a huge rack!
Summerfest Will have 45 targets on Saturday and 30 targets on Sunday. I look forward to seeing you there!

3 whole deer
3 deer minus the head
1 walking bear
1 antelope
4 turkeys
1 havelina
1 rockchuck

10 center sections of animals that would make great broad head targets.

We will also be selling 2 covered targets. They are tin roofed targets with compressed straw bailed targets. We had to remove these in the course redesign, and we are replacing with new ones.

If you want to sell you used equipment, there will be a used equipment table set up, with 10% of the sale price going to the 4-H shooting club that we sponsor. The silent auction bids will close out on Sunday, so if you are bidding and only shooting on Saturday please make sure to include your phone number on the bid sheet!

The forecast is scattered showers on Saturday morning, with it clearing up later in the day and overcast on Sunday.

Post by: Special T on June 03, 2012, 06:52:21 PM: Thank you For everyone that showed up! :tup: We had 94 shooters on Saturday and 48 on Sunday. Our 4H shooting club had a camp out and today was an awesome shooting day. We had 6 of our new rhineheart targets. A full size Moose, Buffalo, and Standing elk, plus we had 2 new whitetail and a mule deer. The ribs and Oysters were great. I personally did fairly well with the moving targets. The flying pig and the running coyote. I only gave one arrow up the archery gods on the flying pig and managed to sink an arrow each day into the coyote. All our silent auctions sold, except we still have a few broad head targets left, that will likely find a home soon.

A Special Thanks to Gary at Riverside and Roger at Wilderness for all their support this year by supplying us with Door prizes. We are truly a lucky club to have the support of 2 great pro shops. :tup:

Post by: Bearhunter on June 04, 2012, 08:42:13 PM: I took two arrows at the moose, If i remember rite it was around 70ish yards, hit high on both about 1/2 apart for an 8.... Those targets sure pull easy as well and the arrows holes just dissapear... we shall se how they hold up. The antlers are fairly floppy on them thou.
