Title: how to skin a deer tail?

how do you skin a deer tail to get the bone out without getting a tail skinner. and if i have to get a tail skinner how much are they?

Just take a knife and split it.  Than slowly skin the bone off.

Just like skinning a deer.  Split it up the white hair side.  right in the middle from base to tip.  Than skin the bone out.  If you pull the tail bone you could tear or pull hair out through the skin side.

I have seen some deer tails with no hair on the tip because they didnt skin them all the way and just pulled them out  :yike:
