Im looking at buying a used sig p229 and the guy says he paid $1100 for it when he bought it new and is asking $900 for it,
is that a good price?
-
anyone own one on here :dunno:
-
I quick survey of gunbroker....870 and up is what I found :dunno: that said sigs are good and they seem to hold their value pretty well....
-
I've owned 2 P229's and $900 is about right, depending on wear.
-
That sounds way high for a used 229

Sorry for the ugly links but do some quick Google searching, Gunbroker is the place to go if you want to find out just how bat*censored* crazy people are with HIGH prices. You can find good deals there but they are few and far between.
As long as you are looking at used guns, here is a decent price on a 229 in 40.

thanks guys  I just didnt want to get buyers remorse, I shot it and loved it.
I am actually buying it for my future wife, I have had her shoot a long list of semi auto pistols and this one is by far the one that fit her hands the best and shot the best groups with.
