Title: 338- 300 grain accubonds are looking good!
Post by: Jim the Plumber on April 09, 2012, 10:36:48 PM: I will be working up some loads for the new 300 grain 338 dia Accubond in my 338 Lapua. First impressions, it's a big bullet 8)
About 1.7380 long, the MK runs about 1.7220. .0160 longer for the AB.

Does your rifle have plenty of freebore to play with before hitting the lands?

I started a topic right after I got my paper work from them. I had a hard time not spilling the beans when I learned they were working on them!

90gr 2738,2782,2759,2779,2768
91gr 2810,2842,2830,2745?,2800
92gr 2780,error, 3 shot was a looses primer pocket and sticky bolt, will pull and decrease charge.

recoil was substantial. remington 700 action, 26 in factory barrel
