Title: .300 win mag reloading trouble?
Post by: Karl Blanchard on April 12, 2012, 09:01:44 PM
I have had nothing but trouble resizing .300 win mag brass.  Federal, remington, even winchester brass (which I use for every caliber I reload) I keep ripping the rim off of the casing.  I have tried every lube out there and still am having issue's.  Wondering if anyone out there has had similar issue's and what the fix is.  New die?

If you are doing that, the die is not to specs or the lube is not working. The other thing could be the shell holder. Make sure it is the right size and the case fits tight into the holder.

We have loaded quite a lot of 300 winmag, never had any problems, must be your die.  :dunno:
