So my wife and I went out in the back yard to shoot our bows, but she is such a distraction that I can't hit the broad side of a barn and I can't figure out why. :dunno: :sry:
-
WOW, left handed!
-
I see what you mean, those southpaw's just look goofy when they are shooting! :chuckle:
-
She has nice form.
-
      I hope she is coming with you on Sat, to pick up the pup.....
Nice form by the way :con:
-
Nice. Thanks for sharing.
-
green fletchings bother me also :chuckle:
-
do you shoot at targets ??
-
:chuckle: :chuckle: :dunno:
-
-
I'm not sure why you'd be distracted? Form looks fine? :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
yes , the form looks fine. good posture ect... just cant see the target zone.
please post the target.
-
I don't have a decent place to shoot......mind if I come over to your house to practice :chuckle:
-
I think her toes are pointed the wrong direction, more photos would be helpful, in correcting her stance problems.... :twocents:
-
Is that a pile a dog crap in the yard just left of the green fletchings? Agreed. Leftys do look strange at full draw. I enjoy shooting trap with my wife, glad you and your wife shoot together as well!
-
I would!
-
It must be the lens flare from the sun in that pic... I can not tell what would bother you though... :dunno: :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
When I shoot by myself I can shoot just fine, but when she shoots with me, I just can't seem to concentrate :dunno:
-
I could probably give ya a couple reasons
-
Do you have any more photos, maybe at different angles, so we can all try to help solve this dilemma?
-

How in the world could this guy see dog crap in that photo. I would have never noticed it.
-
maybe back off a bit so we can get the tru- trajectory of the arrow. & again is there a target in the distance??
not a bow hunter myself but could there be a string slap to worry about??
-
Now if we could only get Rtspring to post pics of his wife................. 8)

Exactly!!!!
What a great thread Norse... I think you get the trophy for the most distractiing thead. :chuckle:
-
 This was awesome it took me 15min to get to the last post.... I kept looking back to the things everyone was saying to make sure I understood the problems that it might be... :yeah:
-
Notice using a whisker biscuit!! More importantly, can she carry out an Elk quarter or two?
-
Is she a guide too?
-
Ummmm a target rich enviroment.
-
I'm distracted and my bow is hanging in the garage!!!!!
-
Her form looks great, but but her bow form needs some work, it looks to me like she needs to loosen up that bow hand, looks like she is gripping to tight. Also her release hand needs to be relaxed, only finger that should be touching the release is the trigger finger. by relaxing both those hands will lessen any tork put on the bow or string.
-
I forget, what were we talking about? (thehunt) :chuckle: And yes she is a guide and can pack out a quarter of an elk, she might just be a keeper!
-
Well done. Thanks for sharing!
-
Therer is a bow in that picture? :chuckle:
-
I am curious what her reaction will be from your posting Norse? Does she know what you did? :dunno:
And this could be fun at the same time...
-
Ha,ha, yeah she knows, it was her idea. She thought it would be funny seeing the comments from all you dirty old men. :chuckle:

Now how hard was it to post this and keep a straight face! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: I couldn't read this post and look at the pic and keep a straight face! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: I'm waiting for some one to attach the pic to a motivational poster and title it like the rest, "if you concentrate hard enough a target will emerge ". :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
Dirty old men and their dirty old minds! :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

White shirts often produce glare. You've got my suggestion.
-
There is a lot left to be said about shaft stiffness, risers, release, etc. but, I'm just going to stop there.

I had to go back and look at the picture 4 times before I noticed what she was shooting. Norse, does she give swim lessons, I mean shooting lessons. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: In all honesty, she guides, packs game, likes the outdoors, great sense of humor and good looking. You're a lucky man.  Reminds me of something my wife and I would've done 30 years ago. :chuckle: :chuckle:
