Title: Looking for a place to camp, halfway between Vancouver and Pullman.
Post by: MHWASH on April 23, 2012, 07:07:19 AM: We're looking to do some camping with our family from Vancouver. Something kid friendly. Our family would be willing to drive alittle farther than half if needed.

Post by: Machias on April 23, 2012, 11:01:42 AM: Banks Lake has some really nice facilities. There are several nice campsites in the Manastash Unit, Buck Meadows..... couple of others I'd have to look up.

Post by: klickman on April 25, 2012, 10:24:37 PM: Brooks Memorial State Park, just outside of Goldendale. Quiet, lots of good hiking and wildlife. The Rangers are very helpful as well.

Looks like a nice spot, and located right where we need it to be. The only problem I see is it's first come first serve. Thats a long ways to drive to find it full.

Post by: washelkhunter on May 03, 2012, 01:47:35 PM: Crow butte on hwy 14 an hour past biggs junction. Nice park. Used to be state park but is under private mngmt now.
