Anyone know this fishery? I'm toying with the idea of dragging the drifter over and was hoping someone would be willing to share the insider info. I know it's a long shot, but it is a fishery that I'm don't see myself spending tons of time on and want to make my one weekend doing it worthwhile. PM's very welcome.

Yakima would be awhile...
Drano, Wind, in the Gorge are your best bet....

Not going now, or even in the next few weeks. I plan to watch the dam counts and decide if its worth it. I was more wondering about fishable flows (which I know can be an issue with spring runoff occurring), floats, run timing to different stretches, etc. The plan is to meet family who live in Richland over there for a weekend of fishing.

They will be up to Roza dam in june. I have caught many of them each year just below the dam. Lots of people though.
-
I'm looking forward to the opener when ever it should be announced. The flood waters should be gone I hope in the next two weeks. I'm looking forward to more fights at the dam as it usually creates more room when the parties leave to clean wounds after rolling around on the rocks.

It might be a non-issue if the damn fish don't show up at bonneville.
-
I'd try in June for that area :dunno:
-
I would likely be in the area from Prosser to Yakima (big area, I know, hence the question about different areas, times, etc). I would certainly go wherever the fish were though.

River is completely blown out will be lucky to fish it this year.

7 more springer's over Prosser dam on Monday. I keep checking WDFW for a projected opening date and areas open for fishing but nada. Didn't the river open around 15 May last year? I look forward to when they start going over Rosa.
