Title: Naneum/Teanaway Turkey
Post by: Slamadoo on April 24, 2012, 08:54:35 PM: Just curious if anyone has been turkey hunting in the area? I havent had a chance to get over or scout yet. How is the snow? Seeing many birds? Anyone bag one yet?

Post by: mallard79 on April 24, 2012, 09:45:01 PM: My brother and a friend just got back from the Teanaway and there was still snow on the hilltops. They saw one hen, heard one gobble and one shot in the four days they spent over there. They also found quite a bit of wolf sign down along the river while they were there. My group is planning on heading back over in a couple weeks....hoping for some warmer dryer weather.....good luck if you go.
