What is going to happen when wolves show up in Seattle's backyard?

I look forward to hearing from the wolf lovers then.

When they hold their "conventions" to discuss how the rest of America WILL accept wolves, it's always held elsewhere, in places such as Hawaii, Florida, New York.  They don't want to hear from the Citizens who actually have to coexist with the wolves.  They hold private, closed and secret meetings to discuss how to force us into this scheme, and when time comes to sen it through the legislature, the decision has already been made for us.

Un-American Tyrrany is what it is.  Agenda 21 is being wrapped around our necks at breathtaking speed, unbeknownst to most people.  Before they know it, they will awaken to find ALL of their rights taken away.   And they'll be playing video games, watching the kardashians and at the mall buying the latest IPad....

Sure am glad I don't have my own children to worry about.

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say ‘what should be the reward of such sacrifices?’ Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!”

Gee, shocking that without management, wolves will become increasingly bolder. Who'd have thunk it? Most of us on this forum, that's who. It is stupid to tolerate wolves anywhere there are people present. I shudder to think of what WA will be by the time the DFW wakes up to the severity of their plan. I can only hope that wolves in King and Pierce counties will do the trick. Of course, if the wolves are keeping the herds of liberals in balance, I would be a little more enthusiastic about their presence in our state.

Don't let the thread get jacked. Just say "ignore" to wolf lovers.

Good article!  I wonder if the *censored* for brains we have in the WDFW can learn from other states having wolf problems.

Wolf hunting is more satisfying, you are doing the elk and deer a huge favor.  As well as the outfitters, motel owners, gas station owners, store owners, and all the rest that rely on out of state hunters for their livilihood.  Now a lot of those hunters are going to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, ... places that haven't been affected by the wolves.

They haven't been affected AS MUCH... Due mainly to the fact that WY had killed every wolf that is in site... I talked to a customer last week that is from Colorado. He stated that there has been an increase in the amount of wolves seen... They suffer from bunny huggers from places like Bolder and other city centers... mainly people that have fled Kalifornia and brought their disease with them...

Vancouver island has wolves that live together with a large heard of elk with huge rosie bulls that command 25k US dollars for a big bull guided hunt.  They have lived side by side successfully while the elk heard thrives.

Welcome back HUMANURE!

Those were both eye opening articles.  It just shows that those in the agencies who participated in the wolf reintroduction, and who still are involved, have no real concept of the enormity of the problems still to come as a result of the unavoidable overpopulation by wolves.  It's too bad the media refuses to address any of this.

decubame, Currently wolves are feedin on Deer on the island, not elk. However i'm sure when they get the numbers low enough they will start.

WSU survey talking about what wolves eat on the island.

The artilce talks about the subspecies of wolves on the island and the "red wolf" in the SW. I find this amazing because we are told that there are NO sub sets of wolves...  Wolves from the far north of BC are the same as the ones we had here... This is a transformation of a lie that was told to us in the beginning.   If you read Dscubame the document by the BC gov, it says that they are worried about  the deer population getting too low and the wolves affecting the elk.

I agree and it is a ebb and flow thing on the island with respect to the predator wolf numbers, depleting its food source in turn delpeting its own population and as the food source rebounds so does the wolf predator numbers.  I could be mistaken but I also thought it is year around open season on the wolves with no license or permits necessary.

Don't be so defensive. In no way was I attacking you. I am just puzzled as to why the statement was made. I will not be going down the road. The gas is too high.

dscubame, I wouldn't call it ebb and flow... The quality of animals does not go up from having wolves around, there were great elk on the island before them. Since elk are a draw only for residents and in order to hunt ANY big game in BC a NR must have a guide. This drives up the price of hunting there, and reduces pressure on the elk from humans. It is also stated in the report that the harvest is very conservative...

4/8." 1977-84
