Title: Plaque Mount Alternative
Post by: Coastal_native on April 28, 2012, 06:47:37 PM: This is something I've been wanting to try for awhile. This design is part of a story I've been working on. The short is..."where ever elk goes, raven will follow" (as symbolized by the ravens in the elk track). The cedar tree with the elk rub is a part of the story as well. The plaque is yellow cedar.

Not really taxidermy, but thought I'd share.

I have often asked raven to show me the elk, in exchange, I will make him a gut pile. I bet one could train a raven to do this. They are extremely intelligent.
