Sad.
-
His personal life went down hill past few years. He was SUCH an awesome backer and very active in the community.....very sad.
-
It's being reported that he shot himself in the chest so his brain could be studdied for the effects football took on him :dunno:
-
sad day for sure, one of my favorite players growing up.
-
I enjoyed watching him play as well. He is an ambassador to the sport. He always will be. Unfortunately he had problems. I find it hard to believe he did this for science. The sun always comes up. Even if you dont see it, its there. The next day is always better. Unfortunately for him, he wont see the sunrise tomorrow. Too sad.

There was a comment that said that no matter how good you are or what you have accomplished if you don;t win the battle between your ears you lose. Sad sounded like he did a lot for his community.

I have shook this mans hand , when I was involved with the chargers via the NAVY. HE was one hell of a guy to say the least. They dont get any better then him in the sports world.
RIP Junior...

WoW!!! pretty much in awe. A permenant decision for a tempery problem. Rip Jr.

I lived in SD in 94' and met many of the Chargers at the bar where I worked. Junior along with Ronnie Harmon, Stan Humphries and Tony Martin were some of the nicest people I had ever met. Down to Earth and easy to talk to. A huge loss indeed..

VERY SAD indeed, but there was a college education to fall back on Jr.
Depression SUCKS!

This new completely shocked me too. I meet Junior in 04 he had bought my buddy and I a beer at Bennigan's when he found out we were in the Navy. He was a great guy and very friendly we visited for about 25-30 minutes then he gave us vouchers to his restaurant that shares the same parking lot. He would go over to Bennigan's to do his paperwork so he would not get bothered and there we were. lol. Good Man.
RIP Junior
