i applied for a doe tag back when i was a teenager but never looked into how it works. back then it was buy a special application then just pick 4 areas that you want. but when i look into the regulations it doesnt say anything about doe tags and how to apply for them. so my question is how am i going to apply for one. looking at the special application section seems like you can only pick from those provided areas but still says nothing about doe. help confused

Look under antlerless permits. They do not call them does tags anymore.

another question so can you only pick out of the areas provided for antlerless? or can you pick any area?

The instructions for applying are right there. If it doesn't have the unit you are looking for in the list of antlerless, it's not available. You can only go by what is listed.
