Hey all. A buddy and I were doing some 22LR long range shooting the other day! Sighted in at 50 yards, bumped back to 150, then to 200, then to 275 yards. Accuracy was solid until we jumped up to 275, we were starting to get a lot of drift. However, I did manage to get it sighted in.
Accuracy was 50 percent hit to 50 percent miss at 275, but it was sure fun plinking that far! Listen to the delayed ding!
Hardware is: H&R 22LR Sportster (tamer different stock), cheapo bipod, tasco 4power 22 scope.
Picture of target, cant hardly see it.

I used to shoot Rockchucks at some crazy distances with a .22 LR and CCI Stingers years ago. Now they have .22 LR ammo that is even faster and more accurate. Fun stuff!

when i went sage rat shooting i have reached out there with my ruger 10-22 I think my farthest kill is about 180yards... There is just a LOT of drop on those things... I think it would be kinda cool to have a turret drop for a 22lr tho.

With that 10/22 you just walk them in.

Isn't that why Butler Creek makes an auto clip loader and 25 rd steel lipped clips? :chuckle:
