I bought a book the other day called "Idaho's Greatest Elk" by Ryan Hatfield. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it. It's a collection of stories from each of the entries into Boone and Crockett that came from Idaho: 18 non-typical and 74 typical entries. Most of the entries had years of harvest listed and many had a weapon used as part of the story. Plenty of entries had little or no story that the author could track down.
Here are a couple of sets of info that I collected from that listing.

I bought all three of his books that are currently out: Idaho's Greatest Elk; Idaho's Greatest Whitetail & Idaho's Greatest Mule Deer. They are well worth the money and great to read. I would recommend them to anyone. :twocents:
