I'm 24, been hunting since I've been 12, and about 4 years ago got into big game, killed two big bucks in Montana, and this will be my second year up at Elk Camp, so if you'd like to help a young buck get his first bear, let me know. I'm in Vancouver, and don't really want to drive ALL THAT far, I'd like to stay south of Seattle if possible!

Do you know any areas South of Seattle that might be good for Bear that is not too far from this area? I might be persuaded to take on a partner. Unless you can make the drive up here. Thinking Snoqualmie or Steven's pass somewhere. May over toward Mount Rainier as well. Been hunting Eastside for the last several years so am out of touch with Wetside areas.
Building an E-Caller tommorrow for calling bears, cougs and coyotes. My family does not want to go this weekend, so I am alone. Will take a day trip somewhere either Saturday or Sunday.

Im thinking about going up in the Stevens area on sunday>... this if my first bear season too. I was up above lake wentachee last weekend, and didn't see much of any signs.
Shoot me a PM if you are interested in heading up there, I don't have certain plans yet but I'd like to go with someone who knows the HWY2 area.
