Hey,
Send me a PM if you would like to take me along for my first bear hunt! I'm 24, been hunting since I've been 12, and about 4 years ago got into big game, killed two big bucks in Montana, and this will be my second year up at Elk Camp, so if you'd like to help a young buck get his first bear, let me know. I'm in Vancouver, and don't really want to drive ALL THAT far, I'd like to stay south of Seattle if possible!
-
I would help you out, but I am looking north of Seattle. maybe Snoqualmie, and then Colville.........
-
Try the West Klickitat GMU. Hunt Elk ther and always run into Bear sign.
-
Just shoot something and call me up..I will pack it out for you...(referring to my brothers story)
Just kidding. ;0
Good luck with finding a partner and a bear!

I just may do exactly that, but then I am afraid you would do the same to me............ :chuckle:

-
Jesus Christ lol...can't even look for a hunting buddy without trying to get mounted thinking I'm a chick for some reason lmao. Warning: Stay away from Hunting-Washington.com when men are in the rut! YES, I am a guy.
-
I figured as much given your posts.
Do you know any areas South of Seattle that might be good for Bear that is not too far from this area? I might be persuaded to take on a partner. Unless you can make the drive up here. Thinking Snoqualmie or Steven's pass somewhere. May over toward Mount Rainier as well. Been hunting Eastside for the last several years so am out of touch with Wetside areas.
Building an E-Caller tommorrow for calling bears, cougs and coyotes. My family does not want to go this weekend, so I am alone. Will take a day trip somewhere either Saturday or Sunday.

There is a hormon ploblem on here for sure. :yike:

With at least a couple of the young buck there is! :chuckle:

HEy DeKuma,
Im thinking about going up in the Stevens area on sunday>... this if my first bear season too. I was up above lake wentachee last weekend, and didn't see much of any signs.
Shoot me a PM if you are interested in heading up there, I don't have certain plans yet but I'd like to go with someone who knows the HWY2 area.
<--- MALE and married just to make sure no one gets their hopes up. 8) ;)

I would be that 90%+ of us here are ...men. I'd say "gentlemen" but...

Ice rarely misses an opportunity, does he? :chuckle: :chuckle:
Always good for breaking up the monotony around here! :brew:

Why don't you get Rob to take you Trav? He has a girlfreind right now so you don't have to worry about anything except bear hunting. lmao
-
Well that's because Rob refuses to take me hunting anywhere :) He guards any percieved animal in the state as his hahahhahaha. Why don't you take me on a hunt?
-
Well, since Rob hunts with me, we kinda think alike. If I had time I would take you. Got to many places to scout this year. Talk to Rob, maybe he will invite you next weekend.
-
Truthfully I don't have that many weekends either. I've got Elk Scouting next weekend, then I've met a guy on here we are going to go check some places out in the area. Then *censored*, it's like bam bam bam, I got Duck/Deer opener, then Pheasant hunting for a week, then Elk, then I'll want to be killing ducks WAY more then taking a bear.
Phew...hunting season is crazy.
-
Honestly trav I would take if I was going to go hunt bears but just don't have time till way later in the season. Please don't tell me you would rather kill a duck than a bear. They're both easy to kill but ducks come on trav.
-
I get way more satisfaction setting up deekes, calling, and all the rest that goes along with Duck Hunting. If you don't get it, you don't get it. I am sure there are a few duck hunters on here who will attest to the fact that hunting ducks probably takes more skill then sitting on a clearcut meadow waiting for big blackie to wander through the area...
Oh, and the above comment was said jokingly...almost. :chuckle:
-
Whoops, thought maybe u were a lady. I was gonna take u out and be very masculine and then have a nice dinner of raw meat. Chicks dig that
-
Watch out for Ellensburg, he'd probably lure you in with a "Cougar" call first.... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
