just wanted to let you guys know. 3 of my buddies and i fished out of sequim today for halibut. we fished from daylight to 3 oclock and got one 38 lb halibut . we were between protection island and the spit. we headed towards canada thru 300plus feet of water and came up on a table to 150 ish in the shipping lane. we got the halibut about 1 0clock. on a horse herring. hope this might help someone.
