Well, after staring at my mount for a year and a half, and hating it more and more every time I looked at it, my wife gave me permission to get it remounted. I'm more than happy with the way it turned out with my new taxidermist. The pic really doesn't do it justice. Should have paid the extra money from the get go.
I should have smoothed the hair down for the pic. It's a little ruffled up from me hanging him on the wall.

Looks good. Who did you have do it this time?

Fidalgo Taxidermy in Anacortes. Really nice people too.

Cool. I have a couple mounts from them. Garth and Tami are good folks and do excellent work.

Yeah, they did a euro for my son's buck also. They have my business from now on.

I too have had a buck done by them.
Your first buck is one of worst I've seen done by a "professional". Not picking on you but I would NOT be a happy camper. A mount should be a reminder of the hunt and experience, not a teeth gritting reminder of what a dumb ars that did the mount for you.

Looks a lot better on the remount. I bet you are happy you had it re done.
