Title: elk shedding
Post by: boneaddict on March 24, 2007, 12:15:11 PM: Here are some pics from yeterday. Sorry, not the best but you'll get the idea. the first band I saw there were 5 bulls, 2 shed, with one with over a foot of fresh growth already. The next band had 17 with 3 shed. the rest were singles etc, totalling about 30 or the day. I didn't find any sheds as one of the local celebrities have been on them very close I imagine. I did find one muley shed. Here they are. These were all in the second band, the first group of pics didn't turn out, it was just too dark.

Lots of the elk are on private land that most of us don't have access too. Obviously some are wandering around.

That makes a ton more sense, all the elk are still packing that I see on my cameras. I have pics of them last year, one, still packing the end of april.

i seen a big bull up at the naches feed station with one horn on tuesday, could have been broke off tho..didnt get a great look at him..
