My new Ruger 10/22 takedown and bx25rnd mag. I can't wait to go shoot it. 8)
-
Hope it was cheap!!!!!!!!!!!
It's broke :chuckle:  very nice
-
I have been thinking about getting one, how do you like it so far
-
I really like it very quick to disassemble and reassemble. It's also very light and i love the back pack. it has a second sleeve for another barrel but i am going to put my quantum micro spin cast rod in it.
-
So does a aftermarket barrel just thread on there?
-
I don't think so, it looks like a lug type lock on mechanism.
What I was interested in is how well it would keep a zero with a scope :dunno:
-
Sweet ...I need one !

I need a companion for my IEP permit I got to access their property ? No kiddiing !
-
should hold zero pretty good as it has a tension nut on front of receiver for the barrel in case it loosens after a while.
-
Way cool! Threaded for a suppressor would finish it off quite well.

i got kinda excited about those takedown 10/22's when I first saw them.. But then I realized that I already have something better. An M-4gery in 5.56 with a .22lr conversion. Its takedown, you can put it in a pack if you want.. its got Hi-cap mags.. and I can swap the bolt and shoot .223/5.56.. So why get a 10/22 takedown? that was my question to myself which I couldnt justify.. I have too many .22's already. I can already carry a backpack full of AR .223 mags, and throw the .22 conversion in there with a couple bricks of .22 ammo.. GTG

that sounds like a plan but i don't own an ar so this fills the need for me

Dont get me wrong, I definately think those 10/22 takedowns are cool rifles. I just posted the reasons why I couldnt justify myself buying one. Your new rifle is sweet!

Cool! How well does it keep a group after shooting, taking apart/reassemble then shooting again? Pretty accurate?

I just bought one myself a couple days ago. It is sweet! Should be a fun gun for a very long time.
The store was out of the BX-25's though, so I wasnt able to pick those up yet.
As for it keeping group, there are several video's out there where people put hundreds of rounds through, taking apart again and again. Stays perfect.

I don't know yet, i will be shooting it in the next few days as i am taking a trip to the east side then i will know.Nibornos I know it's a ways from gig harbor but ben's in renton had a whole box of bx-25 and wholesale sports federal way has champion 30rnd mags
