Title: Well, I guess it had to happen....

My first grind is a finished knife!!!

Palm style 3 finger knife, made from an antique Olympic Peninsula Sawmill blade (15N30?), Zebrawood, Stabilized in CA, Brass, Grey Spacers.

Marked "ST 1" (My first 25 keeper grinds will be numbered. All others after will be marked, but not numbered.)

Heat treated by Gene Martin, Provision Forge, Williams, OR.

I'm up to 22 now, and the lines are getting cleaner all the time, but this is still a sweet, razor sharp, little piece of working art!

Wow.  I really like that one!

Would love one like that with a more swept, skinning type blade.  Maybe a gut hook?

Great work as always Steve!
