Title: NW Hydro Print dipped stock
Post by: doyourtime89 on June 13, 2012, 04:58:54 PM
I just got my wife's stock back for her Savage .270 win mag from Northwest Hydro Print.  They dipped the stock in what they call Muddy Girl Camo.  It came out great.  Thank you NW Hydro Print, my wife loves it.

Yep $80 plus tax and shipping.  I just went and shipped it to them with an order form filled out from their website.  When they got it and reviewed my order form they sent me an invoice to my email with the total cost for dipping a stock $80 plus tax and then what it would cost them to ship it back w/insurance.  With me shipping it, cost, tax and the shipping back I would say total about $100.

That looks great, if I show that to the girlfriend she might get interested in hunting.

Im guessing that was a composite stock? I wonder if they could do that with wood, I doubt it

Yes this one was a composite stock.  I am not 100% sure about doing it on a wood stock.  But I think they can when I was looking into this I didn't see anything saying they couldn't do wood parts.  They do all kinds of stuff.  All guns stuff, fishing poles, sunglasses, cell phone cases, wedding rings, trim for cars/trucks, even animal skulls.  I am sure they can do this on wood.

If you use a good primer on the wood before dipping it will seal it and shouldn't be a issue.
